About
TOYO PAPER USA INC has bought and shipped pulp, waste paper, stock lots and off-grade material out of North America since 2008. We are small, and the person who answers an inquiry is the person who books the container.
What we do
We do not run mills and we do not collect kerbside. What we do is find the material, agree the specification, and get it onto a vessel.
Mills, converters, printers, packers and warehouses in the United States and Canada. Material is bought where it sits, and shipped from the major port nearest to it rather than the port nearest to us — which is often what decides whether a marginal lot works at all.
Prime pulp and ISRI-graded waste paper at one end, stock lots and off-grade material at the other. Traders who only handle prime turn down half of what a mill needs to clear. We quote all four lines, which is why suppliers come back with the difficult tonnage.
Grade, tolerances, packing and loading port are fixed in writing at the offer stage. For off-grade material the defect is named on the offer. Nothing is left to be discovered when the container is opened at the discharge port.
Booking at the loading port, bill of lading, invoice, packing list and weight certificate. Payment on a T/T basis, with other terms open to discussion depending on the account and the history.
How we work
The same seven steps whether you are buying from us or selling to us. Only the direction changes.
Specifications, tolerances and packing are agreed in writing at step 02, before any booking is made.
